California Spiny Lobster

Lobsters are a type of crustacean, like shrimp and crabs. The California Spiny Lobsters are found from Monterey Bay, California to Baja California, Mexico, do not have large pincher claws as their New England cousins. Instead, they have five pairs of legs, two large spiny antennae, and pairs of spiny growths along the sides of each tail segment.
